'N O M A D' is a work in progress, and will be updated regularly.
The goal is to make an album with instrumental beats. These songs will also be presented as loops, in the form of a beatlooper, especially for scratchnerds like me.

Nomad definition:

1. a member of a people or tribe that has no permanent abode but moves about from place to place, usually seasonally and often following a traditional route or circuit according to the state of the pasturage or food supply.
2. a wanderer; itinerant, an individual who roams about.

I chose this title because of my personal background. Its about me being a Indo, not belonging in Indonesia nor in The Netherlands. Therefore we Indo's are the modern day Nomads.
But I also chose it for a musical reason. I'm inspired by lots of styles and genres so I hope it shows in my own sound. As a DJ I like to play Funk & Soul, but also Hiphop. Other days I feel more like playing reggae or dancehall, Bass or even Trap or other more electronic genres. It all depends on the mood I'm in. In life there are all kinds of vibes and moods so with this album I wanted to reflect that, not being bound by just one genre or style yet connected with a coherent sound. It's like going through different kinds of emotions and feelings every day, these experiences shape you as a person for better or worse. These beats are the vibes and hopefully they will show you a little bit about me.
So in this way I am N O M A D.
